Support Us

Duke IPMH is tremendously grateful for the funders who make our work possible. We are a not-for-profit organization and therefore seek philanthropic support from those who generously partner with us. Every gift makes a difference in furthering our mission to provide integrated, accessible mental health care to Durham's youth.

In Memory of Dr. William B. Anderson

Dr. Bill Anderson dedicated his professional career to improving the lives of children, as pediatrician and child psychiatrist. He came to Duke in 1962, first to pursue a fellowship in child psychiatry and later becoming director of the Durham Child Guidance Clinic (later renamed the Community Guidance Clinic, and now the Child Development and Behavioral Health Clinic) and medical director of McDowell Adolescent Psychiatric Ward at Duke Hospital.

Our team is grateful for Dr. Anderson's deep commitment to the children and families we serve here at Duke. His work laid the foundation for everything we do today to improve access to care for children and families seeking mental and behavioral health services.

Please see below for information on making a donation in his memory to support our work.
